I am a child of the sixties  and a true artist in every sense of the word…and every sense of an artist’s lifestyle.  I completed my Bachelors degree in Fine Arts at the University of Stellenbosch during 1992…and thereafter my real training started.

My art is inspired by nature…especially horses. They are such majestic animals and I love to capture their majestic natures on canvas or as a sculpture. Authentic people of all cultures, creeds and backgrounds also inspire me and once I connect with their authentic nature, I am captured by the emotions that flow  from deep within them.

Like all other artists, my life experience has been one of great struggle…emotionally, mentally, spiritually and also physically…and completely unconventional.  Mostly, my  life struggles are what inspires me to connect with the magic or wonder of art and share it with others.  I want my art to mean something to someone other than myself.
